The evidence I found for these words being complex is that they all have two morphemes.   Forbid, forget, forgive, forgo, and forswear all have two morphemes which makes them complex words.   I found no evidence for these words being simplex words because simplex words have only one morpheme.  These words do not have one morpheme which does not make them simplex words.
